“First there was that skateboarding film I made and showed at the talent show in the 7th grade that got me kicked out of school”.

Starting his career on the advertising agency side of the business at Borders, Perrin & Norrander, then McCann Erickson, Branson transitioned to directing. First signing with Harmony Pictures in Los Angeles. During his time at Harmony,  Branson built a body of work for clients including Nike, Footlocker and Reebok. His "Columbia 300" bowling ball commercial is on permanent display in The Museum of Modern Art in NYC.  He was also selected into the Cannes Film Festival New Directors Showcase his first year directing. Then Branson joined Cyclops Productions in NYC alongside photographer Albert Watson and groundbreaking designer David Carson.

He founded the award winning hybrid production company/creative agency UNCLEBOB in Seattle, serving as it’s Founder & Executive Creative Director.

During his career, he's won just about every major award in the advertising industry, including Cannes, ANDYs, The One Show, CA Ad Annual and Design Annual, and Clios. 

Branson joined MOD Pizza in 2017 as its Executive Creative Director. He led all creative for the company including graphic design, store design, film & video, marketing design & concepts, swag & special projects. When he joined MOD they had 189 stores, two short years later they are approaching 500 stores. He had led design on over 300 stores, all snowflakes. a new store opening every two and a half days. crazy.

Branson is quite adept in working with celebrity and notable people. "Just show them respect and make sure they know, I'm here to make them look great". Branson has worked with notables such as Jake Burton, Olivia Munn, Tony Blair, Bill Gates, Jerry Jones, Vivian Tam, Hans Rosling, Bill Nye, Donavan Bailey, Frank Thomas, Chipper Jones, Paula Scher, Bill Nye, Damon Stoudamire, Mitch Richmond, Tommy Moe, Deion Sanders, Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, Davis Love III, Bjorn Lomborg, Kyle Busch, Bobby Labonte and many more.
